Grub Hub Gift Card Balance - American Express and Grubhub Holdings, Inc. allow Cardmembers enrolled in the American Program. Membership Rewards® uses points to purchase Seamless and Grubhub. To participate, you must have a valid US Membership Rewards-registered American Express® Consumer Card, American Express OPEN business card or American Express® Corporate Card, and authorization to use points.

If the card is eligible and enrolled in the Membership Rewards program, all Basic Card members are authorized to earn and spend Membership Rewards points on Grubhub or Seamless. Basic Cardmembers can also earn points for their Supplementary Cardmembers' spending, but Supplementary Cardmembers cannot use points unless the Basic Cardmember allows them to do so.
If you are an Additional Card member and a Basic Card member allows you to use points, you can use points at Grubhub or Seamless. To find out if you are authorized to use points, please check with your Basic Card member. If your card has just been activated with points, it may take a few days before you can use points at Grubhub or Seamless.
I am a Basic Card Member (primary cardholder) and would like to change my Additional Card Member authorization status to use Membership Rewards points. How do I do that? Go to the card authorization section of membershiprewards.com to edit your settings or call Membership Rewards customer support at 1-800-297-3276.

If you have recently redeemed points, it may take 2 to 4 business days for the change to be reflected in your points balance on the Member Rewards summary page.
You can review your points activity and view your points balance by logging into the Membership Rewards program summary page at membershiprewards.com and viewing the "Activity Details" tab. Your transaction should appear on your Membership Rewards program statement within 2 to 4 business days of purchase.
If more than 4 business days have passed since your transaction occurred and the transaction does not appear on your Rewards Membership Program statement, please contact Rewards Membership Program Customer Support at 1-800-297-3276. If your transaction does not appear on your Corporate Membership Rewards program statement, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-800-8564.
