Submitting an application before meeting the cat does not secure your spot for the cat. You can submit an application in advance, but you must meet the cat in person before you can be considered an applicant (ie your application will not be activated until you are ready to adopt the cat).

Children Adopted
You are allowed to have an indoor cat(s), as well as any that must be identified. RESTRICTIONS OR RESTRICTIONS. The adoption process will be on hold until we receive this paperwork. You may mail, email or deliver a copy of this signed lease to us at any time.
Gregory's Gift of Hope requires all of our adopted cats to be spayed/neutered. All cats older than 6 months will be spayed prior to adoption unless there are medical reasons to prevent it. All cats under 6 months of age will not be spayed prior to adoption (at the recommendation of our veterinary partners).

The cost of replacing any cat to unaltered condition will be your responsibility in due course. This timeline will be discussed with you at the time of your adopted cat's possession. The following section is about your current and past pets. We need your current and/or past veterinary information to help us evaluate your pet care practice.
Some vets require you to consent to the release of their client/pet records. If you know (or believe) that this is the case with your vet, please call them in advance and let them know that we will be calling and asking for information about your pet's care.

Over the next few months, we ran into many rescue situations that came our way. We continued our crusade on a smaller scale until the Pierce County Humane Society closed. At that time, with nothing available in our county anymore, we knew we had to become an official rescue program and begin trying to raise funds to help us in our efforts.
