There is no righteous person, not even one... for all have sinned and come short of God's glory. Romans 3:10, 23 No one is worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven. God requires holiness, and as sinners, we fall. Because we have fallen, we will spend eternity separated from God.
God loves us so much that He gave us a way to heaven. But God praises His love for us, because while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 God sent his son Jesus, who died on the cross for our sins.
