I have submitted a redemption request with my Supreme Golf reservation number in a redemption request sent to Go Play Golf. I received email instructions that a gift card has been purchased in my name at my time slot (The Club At Shannondel). (I never agreed to Go Play Golf using my gift card money to purchase the gift card. When I went to my scheduled Tee Time, the clerk was confused about the purpose of the gift card since reservations through Supreme Golf are prepaid. It was impossible to redeem the gift card. I was charged $128 two days before my tennis lesson. I called customer service and emailed them. It became frustrating because there was no continuity, I spoke to someone else every time. You could never get through on the phone. to go through and had to wait for a call back. Customer service explained that my Go Play Golf gift card amount is now a gift card to The Club at Shannondel. I asked for my $50 cashback and several customer service reps and supervisors explained, that my gift card money was used to purchase a gift card to The Club at Shannondel Go Play Golf explained that The Club at Shannondel would have to refund Go Play Golf in order for me to receive my $50. Although, the supervisor admitted that this should never have happened because my reservation number was on a refund request. Go Play Golf also said I could not get a refund based on the way I booked time through Supreme Golf. They said I need to purchase a "lightning deal" to be able to use my Go Play Golf gift card on the Supreme Golf website. When reviewing the actual gift card and website, this requirement was not clear. The "Lightning Deals" or "Best Deals" feature was a filter on the Supreme Golf website, and it never indicated that you had to buy one of those deals. Go Play Golf's FAQ page also states that a customer "can" use a Go Play Golf Gift card for "lightning deals", not clear that this is a mandate. Finally, "Lightning deals" as mentioned on the Go Play Golf FAQ page is an outdated term as Supreme Golf refers to their deals as "Best Deals".
