Globe As Gift - Winter is my favorite season. Of course, it gets pretty cold and you can't go out often, but that works in our favor because we can spend that extra free time on hobbies and crafts. Most of my old subscribers and readers know that I spend a large part of my day looking for cool craft ideas.

Last weekend I was scouring the internet for unique, sentimental and sweet gift ideas for the important people in my life and I realized that a snow globe would be a great gift idea. As always, I've highlighted the best DIY snow globes for you to try as soon as possible.

When it comes to the home, you can never go wrong by including something sentimental like family photos. Unfortunately, my family doesn't seem to have many pictures of me as a baby (how unfair), but I do have a few available and plan to use them as soon as possible to make this snowball family portrait.

If you are thinking of a gift for your parents or spouse, believe that it will be well received. I can already tell you that my brother would absolutely dig this snow globe. Granted, you may have to visit a toy store to find one of these vans/cars, but the end result is well worth the effort.
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I haven't actually seen Frozen. I know, I know, it's wonderful and the reviews are phenomenal, but for some reason I've been behind. After doing some research, I realized that Olaf is the favorite character of most kids, so I really wanted to have this snow globe in my collection.
Oh, and for those who need that Olaf figure, the entire Frozen set is available on Amazon for around $20. I don't know why I didn't think of turning old light bulbs into a snow globe, but I love the idea. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a tree, and if you can't get one, maybe a few of these little ones aren't such a bad replacement.
To be honest, I would go so far as to gift them to all my visitors during the holidays. I'll be honest and admit that I've bought and (unfortunately) killed at least 3 different succulents this year alone. I didn't want to resort to using artificial plants, but this snow globe is exactly what we need.

Aren't they a wonderful addition to any office desk setup? You didn't think I was going to make a list of snow globe ideas and leave out all you super nerds (I'm part of the gang), did you? With Captain Marvel and Wonderwoman 2 coming out soon, I'm totally excited to make some of these for the youngest in my family (I'm lying, I want to make them for myself lol).
You can use regular size mason jars for larger figures, but beware, they can get quite heavy. I know we're a long way from Christmas 2019, but these snow globes were too good to pass up. Just look at how stunning and beautiful this sparkling snow globe for the Christmas tree is!

It was too good and too unusual for anyone to ignore, so I had to share it with you. I'm seriously thinking of having a little craft class for my nephews and nieces and having them make some of these snow globes. Just because you're on a budget doesn't mean you can't have some exclusive and stylish items from Anthropologie.
