As always, there will also be free loot for popular multiplayer games like Overwatch 2 and League of Legends. The giveaway launched on May 4, with Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D leading the pack. May 4th is, of course, Star Wars Day. If you're not too busy playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you can celebrate the holiday by visiting one of the franchise's classic dogfighting games.
Originally released in 1998, Rogue Squadron 3D pits the Rebels against the Empire in the post-Death Star world. You play as Luke Skywalker himself and can fight in five different vehicles, including X-Wings and Snowspeeders. Rogue Squadron isn't the only classic you can check out next month.
Enhanced Editions of Planescape Torment and Samurai Shodown IV will be available. If you're a fan of RPGs, then Planescape Torment is definitely worth playing. The enhanced edition's quality of life improvements make it a solid time investment after all these years. Meanwhile, Samurai Showdown IV is a classic SNK fighting game originally released in arcades in 1996.
Amazon Prime Members Can Claim 15 Free Games In May 2023
15 free games will be released in batches every Thursday throughout the month. Here's the full list: You can keep any free game you want from Prime Gaming—even if your Prime membership has expired. Beyond the free downloadable games, Prime Gaming members can stream several games each month through Amazon Luna's Prime Gaming channel.

May streaming games include Lego DC Super-Villains, Resident Evil 2, Overcooked and Frog Island. It's a great lineup, but they're only available to stream in May. Additionally, Prime members can claim loot for some popular multiplayer games, including Genshin Impact, Valorant, Destiny 2, Hearthstone and more.

Prime Gaming Free Games For May 2023
Subscriptions is YouTube's take on Twitch subscriptions, which viewers can use to show financial support to creators and gain access to certain perks like custom emojis. Twitch users have been able to buy gift subscriptions for a while now, but if you want to buy gift subscriptions for other fans of the YouTube channel, you can't.
The subscription beta gift will be available to a "small group of creators" to begin with and will be expanded "over the next few months," according to YouTube's feature page. Channels interested in using the feature can fill out a Google form, though you must already be eligible to enable subscriptions, which has its own requirements.

And the giveaway will only be available to viewers using a desktop browser window — YouTube plans to fully activate the gift subscription purchase feature on mobile. Viewers also have to opt-in to be able to receive gift subscriptions to the channel (which can be a way to avoid upsets like YouTube changes in print).
Gift subscriptions will appear in the chat and you will need to click on a link and then turn on to allow gifts. Gifted subscriptions are YouTube's latest version of the main Twitch feature introduced to better compete with Amazon's popular streaming service. But YouTube isn't just competing for features — it also lured some big names on Twitch, including DrLupo, TimTheTatman, Ludwig and Sykkuno in a deal announced last week, to stream exclusively on its platform.

He plays a variety of games from old to new and has over 832,000 subscribers. Not bad for someone who describes himself as someone who loves to play games and has been dedicated for 11 years and is willing to share a quality game with his fans.
The Origin Story
DansGaming also uploads streaming highlights to his YouTube channel, which - while not garnering the same following as his Twitch stream - still has more than 84,100 subscribers. Like most '80s kids, he played Super Mario Bros. on the classic Nintendo Entertainment System. Discovered by Gaming.
His interest grew from there, through the Sega and Nintendo 64 to the PlayStation and its many incarnations. At that point he wasn't fully committed to streaming as a career. This is coincidental as he admits it took him years before he had his first 100 followers.
Eventually, his time streaming the game became more and more regular, and by June 29, 2013, he was streaming full-time every day. Despite DansGaming's move to daily streaming and his decision to make gaming his career, Evans was smart about the move. To limit the risk, he went back to working part-time - initially reducing his workload to two days a week - and made sure he had a 6-month rental buffer to cover any dips in his channel's popularity.
He needn't have worried - DansGaming was a huge success on Twitch and quickly built a reputation for entertainment, education and high-quality production value. His fans and followers appreciate that Dan tries to stay true to his style and doesn't try to imitate other Twitch personalities to gain popularity.
