To get to Liberty and Ellis Islands, visitors must take a ferry from Battery Park in Manhattan or Liberty State Park in New Jersey.
Pratima City operates cruise ferry services. Visitors should note that Statue City Cruises is the only authorized concessionaire to sell tickets and provide cruise access to Liberty and Ellis Islands. As such, visitors should avoid street vendors selling tickets in and around Battery Park. Tickets sold by street vendors do not grant admission to Liberty Island and Ellis Island or to each of the island's museums - the Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island National Immigration Museum.

Currently, the interior of the statue is closed to the public. However, the base is open (special tickets are required and must be purchased in advance). The Statue of Liberty Museum and Liberty Island grounds are fully accessible to all visitors. The museum tells the history and influence of Lady Liberty, including her ascension to the crown.
A visit to Liberty Vista, atop the museum, offers a unique look at the statue and sweeping views of New York Harbor. For updates on visiting Statue's Crown, review the National Park Service website. Visitors to Liberty Island can tour the grounds and, with the appropriate advanced ticket, visit the statue's base and crown.
The Future Of Liberty

Gift Shop: Adjacent to the cafe is a traditional souvenir shop selling various items related to the Statue of Liberty. Items like coffee mugs, jewelry, or family photos are available. In the same building, visitors will find a non-profit store selling books, apparel, historical reproductions, collectibles and games related to the National Park Service.
