Gift Shop Midnight Suns

The best way to quickly increase a friendship stat, gifts can be purchased from the gift shop to the left of the door leading to The Forge. If you can't find the gift shop, it's likely that The Hunter needs to increase the team's friendship stat, which increases every time a hero's friendship level is leveled up.

When you find the gift shop, search it to find various gifts ranked by rarity. Like all loot in Marvel Midnight Suns, each gift will be between common and legendary. The rarer the gift, the more friendship XP it will generate if given to the right person.

You'll be able to give a hero a gift when you hang out with them or take them to a shelter, with the option to increase the friendship XP awarded at the end of the hangout. However, it is imperative that you gift to the correct recipient if you want to maximize their ability to generate Friendship XP.

These range from antique vases to rare books. These bounties tend to be best used when you unlock sacrificial altars later in the game (as they can become arcane keys), but during Midnight Suns opening hours, this can be a good way to get early friendship XP boosts.

Friendship Xp[]

So how exactly do you give a gift? Well, first you need to go to a meeting place or visit a shelter with a hero. If you're completing a standard hangout, wait for the night, and if the character has a heart icon over their head, invite them to do something with you.

Begin the meeting place or shelter visit as normal. As soon as you finish your conversation with the character in question, you'll get a small popup showing all the gifts in your inventory. The menu is shown above. Look at all your gifts and select the one you think is most appropriate.

You also don't have to give a gift if you don't want to. You can exit the screen by selecting No gift. When the gift is delivered, you can immediately see its effects on the hangout end screen. When the hangout ends, look for the Friendship Reward popup on the right side of the page.

Each character has their own level of friendship with The Hunter, and various interactions can increase or decrease this relationship. Why build friendships? Increasing friendships also contributes to the overall team friendship level and unlocks even more bonuses. Throughout the story of the game, you will have conversations that can provide a small increase in friendship experience, at least if the hero agrees with what you say. But to maximize your friendship gains, you'll want to actively seek out the company of your new hero friends. Here are a handful of things you can do to quickly raise their friendship level. Most nights, one of the four selected heroes can be invited to a hangout.

Marvel's Midnight Suns: The Perfect Gifts For Each Hero

Choose a hero and you will have three activities to choose from. Each hero has their preferences: younger members like Spider-Man and Ghost Rider love some video games; studious characters like Doctor Strange won't appreciate seeing you during a workout. If a hero loves the chosen place to hang out, you get a +7 to your friendship.

If you like it you will get +5. If you don't like it, you won't gain any additional friendships. Hangouts also features conversations with your chosen partner. Choose the answers that best fit your personality and you'll get +2 friendship. As you explore the grounds of the Abbey, you'll come across bright blue areas that mark significant areas of the map.

Each one is a Shelter that you can invite a hero to during the day. Shelters work almost exactly like Hangouts: each one is associated with a specific activity, but with two main differences. You can tell which activity a Shelter contains by the icon you see next to the name when you invite a hero.

A bird for bird watching, a fish for fishing, a brush for painting, a mushroom for foraging, a basket for a picnic and a flower for meditation. As for which hero you should bring, I've included Haven activities among the best gathering places for each hero in the list at the end.
