Gift Of Reading - Giving is one of the most powerful ways to deepen your impact on Learning Partners students. The $100 literacy support packages for two students and their families provide $500 per student-tutor pair for one school year of technology access. Education Partners believes in a fairer future where all students have access to quality literacy education.

When children have the opportunity to become strong learners, they build confidence in other subjects such as math, science, and critical thinking, which puts them on the path to achieving their future goals. SECOND STAGE STUDENTS STUDY AT THE MASTER'S OPEN FOUNDATION ARROWS GRADA KINDERGARTEN Despite the historic disruptions to education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Learning Partners students have shown resilience and adaptability to continue learning with their tutors.

At the end of the year, the students made great progress in their studies. We harness the power of community volunteers to provide individualized, evidence-based tutoring for students enrolled in our Learning Partners program. All tutors receive high quality training to give their students the best possible support.

In 2020-21, lecturers provided a total of 32,263 hours of training. Students receive books through Book Back and special distribution events 2020-21 Increasing access to books and helping students build their personal libraries is critical to literacy development. Learning Partners offers consistent opportunities for students to obtain books from tutoring sessions and at the end of the academic year.

When Kids Learn To Read, They Gain A Skill For Life

Learning Partners hosts regular family engagement workshops with the primary goals of: (1) providing families with tools and resources to support student learning outside of the classroom, and (2) learning partners working with families to identify the most effective ways to support student learning. .

We also distributed educational kits to nearly 1,500 students to practice literacy using materials found at home and in the community. In 2020-2021, tutoring sessions provided by educational partners are connected to an online tutoring platform, where we meet with students physically and in literacy development.

In the 2020-21 academic year, education partners launched our first online tutoring platform, allowing students and tutors to continue to meet online. In addition to online tutoring, Learning Partners provides students with free access to digital libraries and free literacy tips and resources for families through text.

To celebrate a personal event or show your support for early literacy, create a Learning Partners fundraising page. Once your fundraising page is set up, invite your friends and family to donate. All donations to your fundraiser will help elementary school students become strong learners.
