Gift Of Mercy - One of the characteristics of the followers of Jesus is mercy, or at least it should be. This makes sense because we have a merciful God and a Savior who showed mercy on the cross. Consider the parable of the Good Samaritan, where Jesus explained that the Good Samaritan was different from the Levite or the priest because the Good Samaritan showed mercy to the person who was beaten.

An anonymous writer said, "Mercy is what we show when God prompts us to be compassionate in our attitudes, words, and actions. It is better than love.

to one, love works. Mercy is willing to meet the immediate needs of others and relieve suffering, loneliness, and sorrow. Mercy is about physical, emotional, financial problems, or spirituality with kindness, and self-sacrifice. In other words, those who have the gift of mercy not only have compassion for others, but also their way
to treat the suffering person with respect and kindness and try to help them find healing in their situation. All the spiritual gifts and hope we give for the believer to be used in the work of the church , the gift of mercy is no different, those who have this gift are attracted to broken people - usually those who are judged and looked down upon by other believers.

They are also attracted to restless people who are causing trouble to others with their bad things. Sometimes mercy is directed at others who are in a period of grief. pain inside and outside the church. With the mercy of people who are blessed with strength "rejoice with those who rejoice [and] weep with those who weep" (Romans 12:15).
They are the first to show when someone is hurt, and they look for ways to give help to those who need help. By using the gift of their mercy, they can help the church meet the needs of the community. Consider serving the homeless or the community.
What The Gift Of Mercy Looks Like
Those with this gift often sponsor healing groups, participate in prayer groups, and organize food drives. With their mercy, they show the love of Jesus. Unfortunately, there are misconceptions about people who have the gift of mercy. They are often considered weak or thin-skinned. This is not true.
God has made those who have this gift to be sensitive to the feelings of others so that they can serve those who are suffering. What you may have thought was a personality trait may actually be a spiritual gift. Your loving attitude, ability to listen well, and your compassion may be God's way of serving others.
