Almost every holiday party I've been to over the past ten years has had similar gift ideas along with other Christmas party games. Everyone brings a wrapped present and gets a number. The first person chooses a gift and opens it, the second person can steal that gift or choose another, etc.
I don't even have to write the exact details because you all know. It's the same game that everyone plays at their holiday party every year whether it's celebrating with family members, friends, family gifts, or even office gifts. This year I encourage you to step out of the usual gift exchange box and try one of the unique gift games below for your holiday party.

Click the image below to check it out. This game is played with dice and the dice tells you what to do with the gifts! They are very interesting and a great change because the gifts are controlled by dice - not a choice! In this game, everyone starts with three small gifts.
You will roll the dice and the dice will decide whether to change, steal or open the presents. This is one of the best gift games I've ever played and my most viral gift game for good reason - it's a blast! And you never know what will happen until the last gift is opened!
Find the full instructions and printable dice cards as well as blank cards here! You can make gag gifts with this, but I prefer real ones! For this game, you will need two six-sided dice. Ask all your guests to bring a wrapped gift. And print the dice cards, people want to know what happens to their gifts!

Here are some great gift ideas to exchange if someone needs them! 1- Let everyone sit in a circle with the wrapped gift on their lap. 2 - Give the dice to one person in the circle and tell them to roll the dice and follow the instructions that correspond to the number that came out.
For example, if they win a 6 everyone passes the gift to the right, roll an 8 and everyone passes to the left. 3 - Go around the circle so everyone rolls the dice twice (or however many times you choose). During the second round before someone is opened, if they have not yet shown their gift, untie them so that all the gifts are opened at the end of the second round.
