While you can make these from existing materials, I have a few recommendations if you want to make them in bulk or don't want to dig around for paper. Here are some of my favorite brands: Cola - I make a lot of cards and paper flowers, so I'm a bit of a glue snob. Basically any glue will work here, but if you want to get your hands dirty I recommend one of the following: Cricut - I use a cutting machine to do some of the cutting for this project.

Of course, this is optional, but it will make things go faster. If you're new to Cricut, check out my reviews of the best Cricut machines for beginners. I cut mine using a Cricut cutting machine and a light blue tack mat. If you are cutting by hand, I recommend printing out a template and tracing the pattern onto the material.

Recycled materials are difficult to send through a printer. I loved origami, so I spent a lot of time folding and creasing, so I folded the edges freely. If you want a little more guidance I would suggest using a ruler and scraping tool. I can't find the SVG files in your source library.

A little punctuation, folding and gluing will turn your favorite patterned gift wrapping into a personalized gift bag (brown paper or non-adhesive wallpaper will also work well). Added details like coordinating ribbon (a great use for short scraps) and metal grommets create a polished, finished look.

Cut a 19-by-9.6-inch rectangle from the wrapping paper. Download and print the template; Use the lines as a guide to score and fold as shown. Fold along the top and bottom horizontal lines using bone paste to produce sharp creases. Using the template as a guide for placement, create 4 small holes along the edge of the top layer of the bag.
Insert and place metal grommets; Each eye must go through two layers of paper. (Tip: Alternatively, you can use a hole punch.) Apply glue with a thin, folded flap at the end to close the corner of the bag. Fold the flap over the bottom of the bag and secure the outside with a little glue.
Cut a piece of ribbon and thread each end through the eyelets, tying a knot inside the bag. Repeat for the opposite side.
