And it turned out that the certificates cannot be used for the game (so what's the point). I'm not a buyer. If I went shopping or out to eat it wouldn't all be there. So if you buy everyone a fox gift certificate, they will be very disappointed.

FOXWOODS IS VERY CONCERNED THAT YOU MIGHT WIN WITH HIM! I took my wife to the casino and bought her a number for her birthday. The suite was great as always. Beds are extremely comfortable. The reception was very pleasant. There are many things to do at the casino.

Great shopping and lots of gambling. It was a very pleasant 4 days. We stayed at the Grand Cedar Hotel. I would recommend their suites to anyone looking to stay in the casino. What a messy place! We went to visit the Comedy Club and had a hard time finding a parking space.

We arrived at the Great Cedars hotel to find that valet parking was FREE! Valet got our car quickly when we left after the show! Signage is minimal, so be sure to check the website for a map of the property to get a general idea of ​​where you need to be.

This complex is huge and you will need a few days to see everything. While we were here, we played the slot machines a bit. There were tons of nests! The area was very clean. Drink service was very fast! This was my second time at the resort, first time at the MGM.

We celebrated a friend's birthday there for two nights. Everything we needed was within our hotel, we didn't even have to walk around the property! MGM offers several restaurants and bars, has its own casino, shops and even a nightclub. Nothing beats the convenience of getting dressed without a coat, having dinner, dancing and pushing the elevator button when you're ready for a night out!

You can play games, dine, shop, visit museums, have fun and much more. Buses take you from casino to casino so you can easily visit the many dining options. If you want to try Japan's Wagyu beef, visit Craftsteak at the MGM Grand. Be prepared to pay $30/oz for the Wagyu, but it's worth it for rare to medium steak lovers.

The Texas Onion Rings were good, as was the Wagyu Beef Tartare. Our server is from Albania and his service was friendly and excellent! My wife and I often visit Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun for a getaway. It's close because we're not too far from the ferry service that takes us to New London, Ct., my wife is more of a gamer than I am so I'm always wondering what else to do at the resort.

Most of the time this brings us to Mohegan Sun because they have more shopping, free music at Wolf's Den (don't think there's anything comparable at Foxwoods) and more things to do besides gambling (casual pubs). buy a drink and watch the crowd, pool and spa).

In the past, I've been a bit critical of Foxwoods for not doing much more than gambling. We recently booked a one night stay at Foxwoods and booked the Grand instead of staying at the MGM Grand (which is a very nice hotel). Pequot Tower.

This is our first time to Grand Pequot. We've stayed at Two Trees, MGM Grand, and Grand Cedar, but not Grand Pegout. Grand Pequot is undergoing an update. The hotel is very nice and although we didn't stay in a refurbished room, we did find one.

Older rooms are still very nice, if a bit dated in furniture and decor. The renovation modernizes the rooms. You can see that this is the first class hotel in Foxwoods. Its lobby is more beautiful than the Grand Cedar and its decor is more elegant.

Beds were very comfortable and amenities included bathrobes and L'occitane bath products. The hotel and our room were very clean. We did not use room service during our stay. We went to the Comix comedy club and had a great time watching different comedians. We head upstairs to the hotel for a drink at the Paragon bar before heading to the Comix.

In the lounge next to the Paragon Restaurant, the decor is unique and quite impressive, with a giant globe surrounding the bar. They had a pianist and the bar had no crowd. This was our first opportunity to see Paragon. I was very impressed with the friendly atmosphere and the elegant yet very relaxed feel.

If we didn't have to watch the show we would have stayed at the bar longer - the bar has an all you can order small plate menu and the selections looked unique and really good. to try. small plates. I was impressed with the lounge as an intimate oasis in any busy casino.

It was almost like a private club. There is a private casino just above the Paragon lounge. The Paragon Restaurant itself is right next to the bar and wasn't busy the night we were there. We didn't have a chance to look at the restaurant's menu.

After Comix, we headed to Cedar Grill, which served dinner in its lounge. My wife had a steak sandwich and I had an open-faced turkey sandwich. Both were excellent. Looks like Foxwoods is going through a lot of renovations. They're updating, adding stores, and it looks like they're trying to provide more options for people like me who play a little but want something else to do while they're there.
