Offering everything from guest favorites to kitchen accessories, it's a must-see when visiting Epcot. The Mitsukoshi brand is one of Japan's oldest shopping chains and prides itself on 'service with integrity', an attitude you can feel when you walk through its doors. The merchandise and services are two of the biggest reasons why the store ranks so highly on our Epcot World Series of 60 Must-Do List and our Disney World Top 110 Must-Do List.
What wonderful treasures can you find in this true Japanese gem? This list will tell you about our favorite and most unique things to buy at Epcot's Mitsukoshi. When you arrive at Mitsukoshi, you are greeted by an abundance of colorful, smiling plastic toys. Adults and children alike can enjoy a wide variety of plug-ins from popular children's movies such as Pokemon, Hello Kitty, and Rilakkuma.
Kawaii Merchandise
These adorable stuffed animals are accompanied by a variety of school essentials including backpacks, pencil cases and notebooks featuring these characters, as well as unique toys. The toys range from youth to teenagers. These items are rarely found in other US department or toy stores, so stock up here!
Head to the center of the store and you'll find a large glass case with a collection of cartoons. This screen often features stars like Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Sailor Moon. Lesser known cartoons and movies are often represented here, where the collection ranges from action figures to puzzles.

One of our favorite finds of the last few years is the My Neighbor Totoro porcelain plate collection. Comic books are the perfect addition to your collection of cartoon action figures. Don't forget to check out the information books, game books, and fun books near the collection case.
Sometimes you can find children's reading and coloring books for young visitors. Finally, no anime adventure is complete without a costume representing your favorite character. From pants and beanies to socks and t-shirts, you can even find some clothes in the kids section. Japan's cute culture is displayed in many areas of the store, but the most prominent is located outside the collection case.
Traditional Japanese Buys
From greeting cards to housewares, you'll find cute things. If you're confused about "kawaii", here's a good start with my modern subway. The cute culture or "Kawaii" is not just for your clothes here. A variety of home decor, cleaning products, and bathroom accessories help add beauty to every aspect of your home.
A great selection of greeting cards for every occasion. Even if you don't need one, this display case is worth your time. Japanese sayings and card drawings are the most beautiful combination of emotions I have ever seen. Mitsukoshi also has many food and drink options and my favorite is their bento boxes (be warned, they can be expensive).
To complete your outfit, you can find nice accessories for your outfit such as a bow, hair clip or fluffy socks. But what I like the most is that the beauty products are so cute, you have to buy them. I recommend getting the animal face mask, and the lip balm and makeup are too cute for words.

As you proceed to the next section, you will notice a big change in sales. This section is great for finding all kinds of traditional Japanese clothing, from socks and shoes to fans and hair pieces. Kitchen Products
The most unique and beautiful purchase is an authentic kimono from Japan. There is a bamboo house full of men's and women's kimonos for all occasions, with beautiful floral designs using high-quality threads. Check out the various wall fans to complete your kimono. Each painted a different picture of nature stories such as ships at sea or cats playing in the grass.
Take your Japanese ski clothing and socks to a new level. If the traditional dress is not your thing, the accompanying fragrances will tempt you. Those in the market for yoga studio or art gallery decor will find many pieces here that are sure to be worth collecting.
This entire section of the store is dedicated to Zen with fascinating artwork, incense burners and bonsai trees. There is even a small table dedicated to small gardens, carefully created in small pots to bring joy and peace to the shopper. My favorite part of Mitsukoshi is the kitchen section at the back of the store.
At first, you'll find some garden decorations like flags and lanterns, but then you'll enter a room full of beautifully painted pottery and decorated porcelain. Of particular interest are the beautiful tea sets made of fine porcelain or clay. Each has a different theme or color and comes with a teapot and four small cups.
