Eliksni Quarter Gift Box
These are counted in total and provided with a gift box in the Eliksni Quarter. Opening each Elixni Quarter Gift Box will reward you with the following rewards: There is no limit to the number of Elixni Quarter Gift Boxes you can earn and each Gift Box requires at least 1000 Captain Coins.

Personal Rewards

Players have a wide range of options to earn Captain Coins without unduly limiting player choices. If you're doing certain activities in parallel with your hunt for Captain Coin (for example, hard farming Nightfall for loot), you can focus on those activities.

However, if you want to collect captain coins quickly, the best farm depends on your speed. Farming a fast Lost Sector on normal difficulty like EDZ's Atrium is probably your best bet.
Personal Rewards
Drops 15 Captain Coins and 15 more map fragments for each completion. This is equal to 30 captain coins. Lost Sectors with higher difficulties have the same yield, but take longer to complete. However, if you're working on Exotics, you can rack up a fair amount of Captain Coins while trying out the best RNGs for the Exotics of the Godrolls you're after.
You get 1 captain's coin and 45 map fragments, but it's still a small investment. Ketch Crush is also a good option. Lost Sectors seem to be the best way to farm hard Captain Coins, but farming alongside other activities and objectives can be more profitable.
