Unlike "The Monkey's Paw" and "Stolen Fun", there are many examples of irony throughout the story. Irony is used as a surprise when events result in unexpected ways. This story has a big difference based on what it represents. For example, "The Monkey's Paw" describes the consequences that the characters make based on their decisions whether it affects their lives or not.
On the other hand, "The Stolen Party" shows how social groups take care of each other. Whites and Rosaura, known as the protagonists of both stories, intend to change their destiny, but are punished because it makes their life more difficult than the usual routine.

Tell tale heart and Lamb to the slaughter are two very interesting short stories. At first glance, it may appear that they are basically the same story. I mean, they're both murder mysteries, both characters try to cover up their murders and other little things like that.

The story is about two rival families living in the Carpathians, the Gradwitz and Znaeym families. Families were arguing over the plot of land between their properties. Both claimed the land as theirs and wanted it all for themselves. In the end, there was a claim that the land belonged to the Gradwitzes.
Znaeym got angry because he thought it was not fair and started poaching on Gradwitz land. In turn, Gradwitz began to hate Znaeym for poaching on his land, a serious crime at the time, which became the cause of the fight "Call to Kill", a short story written by Josh Pachter, including several vivid examples of situational irony in the text.
