Antonio is Mirabel's younger cousin with whom he has a friendly relationship, and Mirabel is his older sister.[2] Ravi-Cabot, Antonio's voice actor, said of his character: "Antonio's gift is talking to animals and communicating with them, and they can communicate with him. He's kind of an introvert...but he's also got a big heart. I think I can relate to all kinds of people, too."

He is unaware of his cousin Mirabel's unpopularity in the family due to her lack of gifts, and in fact he does not blame Mirabel for her lack of power, but is optimistic about her situation.

By offering his room to Bruno and Mirabel, Bruno showed himself to be very considerate and helpful for his vision. He is also willing to use his gifts for the good of others, such as when he told those he asked to warm Alma's chair at the breakfast table.
Antonio was born on May 21, the youngest child of Felix and Pepa, 5 years before the events of the film [4]. At first, he was worried about getting a gift. Mirabel reassures him and assures him that she will give him a present. And to inspire Antonio's confidence, he was given a stuffed jaguar.
Antonio was still nervous after that. He asked Mirabel if she would walk him to the door. Mirabel didn't like the idea at first, but she went along with it. The gifting ceremony is successful and Antonio receives the gift of animal communication. When Mirabel finds Bruno by the walls of the casita, she asks him to look into the future and see what he can do for his family.
Physical Appearance
Bruno says he needs a big open space. Antonio suddenly appeared and offered them his room. He explained that Bruno the rat told him the whole story. Bruno and Mirabel agree and the three of them go to Antonio's room. When Bruno arrives at the last minute, Antonio offers him his pet panther, telling him "for nerves."
This seems to calm Bruno down a bit, and he is able to focus his vision. Antonio tries to escape the house as the casita begins to crumble and collapse. He was almost crushed by the board, but Felix pushed him out of the way.

This little scene is shown in Bruno's vision. When Antonio's door breaks and the magic comes out, all the animals run out of the room to escape being trapped by the falling house. When Mirabel returns home with Alma and Bruno, some members of the family are interested in hearing about Bruno, especially Camilo.
Antonio has already known Bruno since he met him within the walls of the old house. Antonio, like the rest of his family and community, helps rebuild the Casita. Finally, when the house is almost finished, Antonio shows how close he is to Mirabel by giving her a doorknob.

On their wedding day, Felix and Pepa tied the knot on what was initially a sunny day, which unfortunately turned into a whirlwind when Bruno made good-natured jokes to comfort his worried sister.
Despite the wind and rain, Felix remembers his wedding day as "happy" even if his wife disagrees with him. Years later, Felix and Pepa had two daughters (Dolores) and two sons (Camilo and Antonio). In addition to being the father-in-law of Juliet, Bruno and Agustin, he is the uncle of Isabela, Luisa and Mirabel.
Like the rest of the Madrigal family, Felix was intended to embody "the immediate family archetype".[2] As with the final production, the studio created Felix from the start with a happy and relaxed personality, contrasting with the more nervous and restless personality of his wife, Pepa.
