It was not one voice, but a collective. I am not sure who they are, but I can be sure that we must share our discovery with others.

In the midst of a mining expedition, citizens of New Tristram encountered an ominous altar carved from an archaic material with cryptic markings. Shaken to their core by the monolith's wondrous aroma, they sought the aid of a brave Nephalem willing to investigate this ominous discovery once left to time - the Altar of Rites.

A home of power believed to have vanished from the Sanctuary, the Rite Altar will grant these mystical powers to a worthy Nephalem. . .after bringing the sacrifice. You can start interacting with the Rite Altar at first level. Upon arriving at the Rite Altar, players will see 26 icons called Seals and three Legendary Power Potions.

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the items below. As you can see, after unlocking the first seal, the order in which you unlock additional seals and gain their powers is entirely up to you and which powers best suit your character's build. When the power of a seal or legendary elixir is unlocked, you will immediately gain the power of that seal or elixir and have the ability to unlock the associated seals or elixir when you have the necessary materials.

Seasonal Conquest

Players can unlock all seals and potions and powers apply to all of your characters - these powers last throughout Season 28. Unlocking the seals and potions will be no easy task, especially after multiple sacrifices - you will find even roaming the sanctuary and slaying a multitude of demons determined to prevent you from attaining the full power of the Rite Altar.

Players must collect the materials listed in the Altar of Rite menu and sacrifice them to gain the power of a seal or elixir. In addition to your power-up after unlocking, you'll notice that the generic text shown earlier has been replaced with a small snippet of history about Sanctuary's tumultuous past.

To unlock a seal, it must be unlocked first (this does not apply to the R, S and T seals due to the way they are placed inside the altar). For example, if you want to unlock seal B or C, seal A must already be unlocked.

There is no limit to how many seals or potions can be unlocked in a given time period if you have the necessary materials to sacrifice to the altar. Regardless of the order in which you unlock seals and potions, the price will increase as shown below.
