Companion Gift Guide Swtor - Gifts are items that can be given to colleagues to increase their level of influence. In the tables below, the love benefit from gifts is from high to low: if a partner has a romance, the love for gift types can change. These changes are noted in (brackets) if applicable.

Note: Kalio and Torian have different bounty choices than their classic Imperial Agent/Bounty Hunter choices when they are re-recruited during Knights of the Fallen Empire. See the table below. Note: The only classic companions listed in the table above are the ones that differ in gift selection.
Others are available for Outlander - refer to their classic selections. Companions won by Galactic Seasons do not like ordinary gifts. The only way to increase their influence level is through bounties earned during the season, sending them on crew skill missions or using the Commander's Brief.
Gifts of clothing are given to friends with whom there is a romantic relationship. Some spouses' love levels must reach a minimum point before gift-giving is beneficial. Giving gifts to colleagues will not help. The galaxy is not a place to explore things alone. You will need good companions if you want to survive your adventure.
Gift Preferences[]
Soloing won't get you anywhere as higher level quests require a buddy or group, at least you can pick a good buddy. You'll get your first companion when you're level 6 or 8, and when you get a ship, it automatically comes with a droid companion.

Although companions are class specific, by the time you reach level 50, your companion will be able to fit almost any role. You can do different things with your friends. They can trade for you and turn the goods in your bag into income and craft for you and turn your resources into valuable items.
You can read more about crafting in our SWTOR crafting guide. They might even give you extra quests if you're kind enough. Most of your actions and dialogues will affect them in one way or another. If you earn enough affection through your actions in their favor, you'll unlock more content, but if you're not looking for romance or extras, you can forget about love.
