Celebrating North Carolina cultures and traditions, the Raleigh area offers Christmas parades of all sizes. For the largest parade between Atlanta and Washington, DC, line the border in downtown Raleigh for the 78th Annual Christmas Parade on November 19th. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., the 1.4-mile parade winds its way through historic downtown Raleigh and features floats, giant balloons, marching bands and plenty of local talent to delight parade-goers.
