This first store continues to be one of the top stores in terms of sales and profits. CHKD thrift stores have expanded to include 22 locations along Hampton Roads, including Elizabeth City and Kitty Hawk in North Carolina. ACCOUNTING PICKUP: Free pickup of donations is available Monday-Friday.
During the warmer months, Saturday pickups are available for sale in the community yard. Monicello's place is closed on Sundays. Tuesday Customer Appreciation Day 25% off all items for all customers We accept donations of anything in re-venable condition except the major appliances. If you are interested in donating a car or truck, boat, house, trailer, etc. Thrift stores cannot accept vehicles either.

We Have Gift Cards!
It provides a much needed shopping opportunity. The thrift sale entirely benefits CHKD's treasured daughters of King's Hospital. The thrift store brings in more than $2 million to CHKD in one year. Community support helps CHKD provide quality health care to more than 160,000 children annually.
Class trucks will be sent around the community to collect donations. Also, donations can be dropped off at each location during business hours.
