How amazing. You need some time here. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Seattle. Totally unique. I don't usually go to art galleries and I didn't expect to care much about this stop, but I went with the rest of our group.
I was very pleasantly surprised. The glass art in this place is amazing and beautifully displayed. The pictures don't do it justice. There is also a garden area where some of the works are displayed, and a courtyard with food stalls. You could easily spend some time here, but we only stayed for less than two hours.

What a beautiful piece of glass! Check out the video about Chihuly in the last room. There are several short films of the glassblowing process and his work on some of the famous exhibits. Even professional photographers who walk around will take pictures for you for free, and you can email photos for free.
They'll ask you to take a short survey, though, before sending it to you at the kiosk. Astonishing! We love visiting and the gardens are our favourites. We recommend this to anyone visiting Seattle. We recommend a day trip to the Space Needle, Chihuly, and MoPOP.

The Chihuly tour took less than an hour and we didn't have to wait. Stunning glass works in the museum, some using more than 300 colors. Very distinctive, very cumbersome to do. From stunning glass chandeliers to canoe pieces. Chihuly's garden creations are stunning, works of art.
Great related gift shop where you can pick up some goodies. When you see the Space Needle, it's really special and a must see. Chihuly's creation is amazing. This garden is worth a visit. We bought the space and garden needle combo. Truly an incredible experience.

enjoy it. What a gem to visit Chihuly's gardens and glass exhibits! Lived in Seattle for 7 years and never seen anything like this. What an amazing collection. Worth a revisit just to see all the beauty. I've been told it's a must see. I had my doubts, but I found them to be right.
What he does with glass has to be seen to be believed. It's so beautiful, I'm always amazed. There is also a glassblowing demonstration, which is very informative. We were there for an hour and a half and it took 15 minutes. I highly recommend a visit to this place, I take every guest that comes to town and discover something new with every visit.
He has an extraordinary talent for blowing glass and creating such magnificent works. It's amazing and worth a visit. We were in Seattle for a wedding and had half a day to see and see the sites. We took the monorail into the city center and bought city passes on our mobiles - highly recommended (for a few days, covers a lot).

I wouldn't recommend paying full price just for the glass garden, but if you buy it in a package, it's a must see. Very nice gardens and well built galleries. If you can catch one of the tours/lectures, I recommend it. I didn't know much about Chihuly's history before.
