Chatham Town Center has about a mile of unique shopping for everyone to enjoy. The best way to get around Main Street is on foot. Start on both sides of Main Street, where you'll find many upscale shops and restaurants. You'll also find galleries filled with works by local artists depicting Cape life in watercolors, oils, sculptures and more.

Traditional skills such as scrimshaw, pottery and weaving are still alive and well in Chatham and practiced by local artisans. You can also find nautical antiques, jewellery, men's, women's and children's clothing, sports memorabilia, gifts, novelties, toys and specialty foods. There are 3 large parking lots and 2 public restrooms, no parking meters!
Stop at one of the many restaurants as you pass by and hop in the car for a leisurely walk or drive to Chatham Lighthouse to enjoy views of the beautiful Lighthouse Beach. Lighthouse parking is limited to a maximum of 30 minutes. The Chatham Merchants Association, an offshoot of the Chamber of Commerce, is an active group of retailers and other business managers who direct certain special programs in Chatham.
