They were serving one more person and I asked for a refund then got my order. I ordered on the app in my car and then went to collect my order. I went to the bathroom first and then went to the cash register. My order was missing.

Three people were waiting in line to order. All three ordered and started waiting for their orders with me. The first got the order, then the second. I then asked the counter about my order. I showed him my order number over the phone. Then he went and looked at what I presume was a screen showing orders.
He then left and went to take an order from another person who had come in. After taking that person's order, he went and took the third party's order. This left me and the last person to come waiting for our orders. After a few minutes, he handed the order to the last person to receive it.
At that point I said can I at least get my money back! Then he came over and took my chicken sandwich and apple pie, put them in a bag, handed them to me, and left. You never said a word to me. Just left and as I was walking back to my car the review screen popped up and I typed my first bad review.

and my points will accumulate. However, like the previous poster, I can order on this app and sometimes no one will even know you're waiting. I live outside of Douglas but also use it on my trips to Sierra Vista and Tucson. One time I ordered from my main shop (actually the only one) here in Douglas and ended up waiting 30 minutes.

I still had to go to the store and pick up my order and then they still owed me food worth about $7-10. Which at one point I didn't care considering I was waiting to order (but their customer service was terrible) I was going to pick up but no one acknowledged my presence even though my vehicle was parked at the pick up location no apologies...nothing
On top of that, they gave me an incomplete order. After my 30 minute wait, I could have done less, I just wanted to get out of there. Now I've had the app for a while - at least a year and now it's not working.

I haven't changed phones - I still have an I phone 12 pro max. Now every time I want to order using this app it tells me I need to log in even though I'm on the home page. It doesn't even show me the menu.
I re-register my phone and a screen appears saying the page could not be loaded, please try again later. So this app basically became useless overnight. What a disappointment. I recently had to place an order three times because the app timed out while my screen went to sleep.
Luckily I only downloaded once. I placed my first order on my way to the restaurant. My screen turned off on the way after ordering. When we got to the restaurant there was no record of my order in the app. My debit card was recently destroyed so Apple Pay was the only option until my new card arrived.

So I tried to place an order at the restaurant but the whole app timed out which meant I had to log back in. For some reason it didn't suit me. I kept getting error messages. We were in a hurry and had to leave the restaurant.

Once home, the app started working again, and since my husband had promised snacks for our little one, I went back for some food (I really didn't mind). As I had trouble ordering at the restaurant, I placed my order at home and then left.
Again, the order is not recorded. Fortunately, the whole application did not expire and I was able to place an order at the restaurant. It took them 25 minutes to get the food to the car. I doubt I will use the app again. It was so cumbersome and took so much longer than going through the crossing or even ordering through the dashboard.
Other stores, such as chick fil a, have figured out how to allow people to place their orders before they get to the restaurant. It seems like it wouldn't be hard to do. The developer, McDonald's USA, has advised that the app's privacy practices may include data processing as described below.
