Since we first posted that Honolulu Magazine was bringing Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience to the Islands, thousands of you signed up for a chance to buy tickets before we announced the details of when, where and how much. Now that it opens to the public this Friday and we've got a sneak peek at how it all works, here's everything you need to know to get the most out of the experience.

Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, the exhibition closes one hour after the last entry time (it takes about an hour to hear it).

If your slot is at 10 but you show at 10:15, the 10:15 slot may be sold out and due to limited availability, the exhibition hall may not be able to accommodate you.
If you need to reschedule, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance and pay the $8 rescheduling fee. You can get around this with an advance ticket ($51.99–$61.99), which allows you to enter two hours before or after your scheduled start time during any of the show's scheduled times.
1. Book Your Ticket In Advance
Peak-time (Monday to Thursday) is $10 less ($4 less for children ages 5-15) than weekends and holidays. For the best deal, go with a group of eight—that's $29.99 per person during the week. There is also a large parking lot down the street for a shopping center that may or may not be interested in you parking there. Buy a snack later to calm your mind. No eating or drinking is allowed in the exhibition, and there is no re-entry, so make sure you can get in within the hour without interruption.

2. Don’t Be Late

Sometimes, the same pictures are shown on different sides of the room; The second time you get a different view depending on where you stand, so keep going. The wall in the middle of the room usually shows the side of the picture which makes the whole thing look 3D.
