Bed Bath & Beyond filed for bankruptcy on April 23, signaling the end of an era for the big-box retailer and all the dorm rooms that were stocked with its wares. According to its Chapter 11 filing, the company expects to close all Bed Bath & Beyond and BuyBuy Baby stores by June 30.
What does this mean for you? If you've been hanging on to any coupons, digital gift cards, or trade credits, now is the time to use them. For now, according to the company's press release, "360 Bed Bath & Beyond and 120 BuyBay baby stores and websites will remain open and serving customers."
Brands will also continue some customer programs as they hold their last-chance clearance sales. All in-stock items purchased online will also continue to be processed during this time, and customers can still use the Bed Bath & Beyond and purchase BABY apps. But time is running out, so here are the dates you should know if you want to shop at Bed Bath & Beyond or buy one last baby.

While Bed Bath & Beyond is no longer accepting its iconic 20% off coupons, rival retailers The Container Store and Big Lots have announced they will accept them in-store for a limited time. Big Lots will be applying coupons for 20% off any in-store purchase of $50 or more through May 7th.

You can still shop with credit on goods in stores and online until May 8. Bed Bath & Beyond and buybuy BABY previously offered a cash back rewards program called Welcome Rewards.
Shoppers can earn 10 points for every $1 spent, and once a certain number of points is reached, the points can be exchanged for My Rewards vouchers. (Acquiring 5,000 points equaled a $5 My Rewards voucher, 10,000 points equaled a $10 My Rewards voucher, etc.) While you can no longer earn Welcome Rewards points for your purchases, any existing My Funds points you accumulate

The company plans to close all 360 Bed Bath & Beyond and 120 Buy Buy Baby locations by the end of June. Here's what you need to know about using rewards points and store credit before stores close. Customers can still shop at Bed Bath and Beyond stores, but locations will begin closing as early as Wednesday, April 26.
Last Day To Use Welcome Rewards Points
The online store and mobile app are still operating, though the company has not said whether those purchase options will remain open during the bankruptcy proceedings. Anyone who has purchased an item online but has not received it will have their order fulfilled. Welcome rewards (which are Bed Bath & Beyond's points program for frequent purchases) and store credits will be accepted through May 15.
Gift cards will be valid through May 8 and coupons will be accepted through Wednesday. Customers with a Bed Bath and Beyond Rewards+ credit card can still use it until the store closes. But those with a Rewards+ loyalty membership, which costs $29 a year, can't cancel and get a refund.
The Container Store also announced on Wednesday, April 26 that it will accept a "20% off one item" coupon from Bed Bath & Beyond for a limited time. "Bring the blue coupon and get 20% off one item and try our wide range of new college products," the company tweeted.
