But if you get a certain type of email from American Airlines, you should be on the lookout for a recently reported camera.

Discala, founder of travel blog Johnny Jet, there's a new scam targeting potential victims by masquerading as an American Airlines alert.
The message claims "your primary email has changed" in the subject line and uses very legitimate layout in the body text. DiScala wrote that since he had just canceled a flight with the airline earlier in the day when he first received one of the messages on his phone, he didn't think much of it.

However, when he accessed the email from his computer, he was able to see that it was actually sent from another address masquerading as the airline in an apparent "phishing" scam to hack into his account and steal personal information. Fortunately, DiScala made the phishing attempt before any personal information was given to him.
