This.) There's a reason the teacher pays Teacher resources can be FREE. Personally, I have the first five types of free TpT resources in my TpT store. TpT authors like me are required to post at least one FREE resource before we can sell on Teachers Pay Teachers.
You may have to search through a lot of FREE stuff to find rough diamonds. On the other hand, many experienced sellers also create fabulous free resources. One of my first resources was a Growth Mindset poster that I created and used in my classroom.
Skip to now and you will know a bit more about selling on TpT. This free "WHO IS INVISIBLE" diversity challenge has been downloaded over 3,500 times since its release. I should probably charge for this WHO INVISIBLE viewing lesson, but I won't. The viewing lesson is completely free.

In fact, I even posted the entire Diversity & Inclusion demo lesson on its own website!) But, I always choose to give it away for free. I posted the WHO is INVISIBLE challenge as a free TpT lesson because I want more teachers to use it.
Tackling big issues like racism, discrimination, surviving a pandemic, doing everything right and continuing to lose your job, trying to build strong relationships... Preparing students (and ourselves) for the 21st century means practicing transferable skills that we can apply in any situation. Nothing works for everyone, all the time.

I know from experience that most people won't bother entering a contest. Those who often earn a TpT gift card from me are the ones who stick with it because they see value in it. I used to show this video to my students about being a leader and making the world a better place.

I am also exploring exciting ideas. It appears that gifts from my Teachers Pay Teachers Gift Card will be limited to the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec). It has to do with complying with rules and regulations in different areas. Read this if you are not in the United States or Canada.
